Dimplex Optimyst® Pro 500 Electric Fireplace has changed the game with a design that makes fire feel magical again. This isn’t the clunky electric fireplace of decades past. Instead, Dimplex uses ultrasonic technology to turn water into a fine mist that looks like real flames—complete with the look of smoke, but without heat, moisture, or gas.
The flames are so realistic, guests will have to lean in to tell they’re not from a wood or gas fire. You get all the ambiance without any of the mess or safety concerns. It’s a zero-clearance unit, so it can be installed almost anywhere—even in a bathroom, beneath a TV, or in a see-through or three-sided setup.
The modular design lets you link multiple cassettes together to create longer, dramatic fireplaces that would be hard to pull off with traditional gas units. You can also adjust the flame width using the included spacers and slots. Add your own ember bed, or pair it with an optional log set for a personalized look. Want to skip water refills? A plumbing kit is available for a continuous water supply connection.
