Use the Solaira SMaRT Water Proof Timer Control – 4.0kW to easily control your infrared heater. This patio heater is designed to provide energy savings in indoor and outdoor applications. This model switches the heater on for a predetermined time period between 1-60 minutes.
The microcontroller-based unit incorporates zero-voltage switching and a soft-start function to eliminate the heater’s initial high inrush current, potentially increasing heater emitter life by as much as 30%. The installation of the unit is simple, and once our solid state controller is installed, it is relatively maintenance-free.
