For extra protection, you can also add a removable mesh screen in your choice of five styles, as well as a child-proof safely lock.

PLEASE NOTE: A hearth is required to add a damper, but a hearth is NOT required for installation of the standard doors. These doors can be designed to overlap a raised fireplace opening without a hearth (4-sided overlap fit). 3-sided and 4-sided overlap fits are still available for Charlotte standard doors.
