The total depth for this fire pit is 14″ and by use of a media grate positioned 5” from the bottom of the bowl, a depth of 9″ can burn real firewood while the grate catches the ash in an easily-cleaned removable vent.

PLEASE NOTE: To ensure the longevity of the fire pit, the manufacturer recommends using a cover when not in use.
