R7s bulbs are like miniature T5 bulbs found in overhead panellights. They snap into place utilizing the sockets’ springmechanism and floats freely in place. This allows for adjustmentwhich can help aim the light in some applications, or even dim thelight depending on the fixture in which it’s installed.
