It reduces the opening height of your fireplace by 2 1/2 inches but does not block the view of your gorgeous fire. The Airculator can be conveniently installed either right-handed or left-handed depending on the closet outlet available. It is made to last and works with the glass enclosure of a fireplace to prevent heat from escaping up the chimney to give you a bigger heat output produced by your open flame.
